Standard chain for single speed bicycles such as BMX. The chain comes with a clip link for easy fitting. On BMX bikes chain tension is achieved by re-fixing the rear wheel when the new chain is in a tensioned position. Doing this often means that the rear brake shoes need re-aligning with the moved rear wheel rim. So although fitting a single speed chain is relatively simple other work is often involved. So fitting a BMX chain can take more than a few minutes - and can lead to new brake pads being needed. But generally we can fit a standard BMX chain for around £15 inc. parts. |
